Making the Grade at Closing

When Diana Williams joined RE/MAX Alliance, little did they know that the former high school teacher would naturally have one of the most important skills a Realtor could have - the ability to handle several different personalities all at once, and to listen.  But the teaching experience isn't everything.  Being coached from Buffini & Company since 2001 and her Stephen Ministry training, qualifies her to listen reflectively, apply assertiveness training and implement the small step approach.  

A Realtor since 1994, Diana believes in making sure everyone comes out a winner.  She attributes her success to her passion for learning.  "I'm always learning," Williams said.  "I always have a CD on in my car that's helping me brush up on my skills."  Armed with a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, Williams  proves her value to her clients. 

Relocation is one of Williams' specialties.  Always willing to go the extra distance for a client, she works hard to make sure to take as much stress out of the relocating process as possible.  "I helped a couple relocate from California," Diana said.  "They saw 22 homes in two days, and closed on their second pick in 21 days.  There was a lot of front end work, but we were able to meet their deadline on the right home."

Williams's clients are aware of the extra effort they get with her, too.  In fact, several of her clients have bought and sold two or more homes through the vteran Realtor because of the extra care they received from Diana.

"Probably the two most important things a Realtor has to be are flexible and open minded," Williams admitted.  "I've painted decks, hauled dirt and rock, raked leaves, pulled weeds, and even packed for clients.  I've done it all!"

Williams' success, when it comes to helping her clients, boils down to perseverence.  It's a quality she attributes to her family, tracing her ancestry to three families that came to America on the "Mayflower.  She believes that same perseverance of her ancestors runs in her blood today.
